After charming everyone with her airhostess act in Rajesh A Krishnan’s heist comedy, Crew, Kareena Kapoor Khan is gearing up to take the big screen by storm once again with her upcoming thriller, The Buckingham Murders.
At the trailer launch event of this much-anticipated film, Kareena was asked if her role in this film was inspired by Kate Winslet’s character from HBO’s crime drama TV series, Mare Of Easttown. In response, the actress shared that she is a huge fan of the Titanic star and also emphasized on one can draw inspiration from other actors to improve their craft.
The Bollywood actress said, “The script came to me a year before Mare of Easttown. Actors should draw inspiration from different actors; it is kind of a motivation to make you want to do better. I am a huge Kate Winslet fan and I watch her work closely. This is my interpretation of the character, but there is no harm in drawing inspiration from other actors, as every actor sort of needs some kind of motivation and if it comes from another actor, so be it!”
At the event, Kareena also reflected on her two-decade long journey in the film industry and said that she always dreamt of being on the big screen. “Acting is in my blood. I don’t know anything else,” she told the reporters.
