Vikrant Massey took to his social media handle to announce that he would meet his fans ‘one last time’ in 2025.
Here’s some heartbreaking news for all Vikrant Massey fans! The actor has dropped a shocker on his Instagram page by announcing that he is planning to step back from acting from next year.
Vikrant‘s post read, “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise its time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor.”
The ’12th Fail’ actor further added, “So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many a years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between.”
Reportedly, Vikrant is currently working on two movies – Yaar Jigri and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Shanaya Kapoor.
Vikrant Massey made his acting debut with the TV show Dhoom Machao Dhoom in 2007, and went on to work in popular shows like Dharam Veer, Balika Vadhu, Baba Aiso Varr Dhoondo and Qubool Hai. In 2013, the ‘Broken But Beautiful’ actor made his transition into films with Ranveer Singh-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Lootera.
Over the years, Vikrant impressed the audience with his powerful acting chops in films like A Death In The Gunj, Chhapaak, Haseen Dillruba, Love Hostel, amongst others. Last year, the actor achieved major success with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sleeper hit 12th Fail, and followed it with a chilling performance in the Netflix film Sector 36. His last release was The Sabarmati Report.
Besides TV shows and films, Vikrant has also been a part of acclaimed web series like Mirzapur, Broken But Beautiful, and Criminal Justice.
