Sharvari expressed her excitement over being a part of Yash Raj Films’ Alpha, and getting to try her hand at action.
After the blockbuster success of her horror comedy Abhay Verma starrer Munjya and earning praise for her performance in John Abraham’s Vedaa. Sharvari is now all focused on her upcoming film Alpha.
Touted as the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film, the much anticipated movie is also headlined by Alia Bhatt. Both the actresses play super agents in this spy verse film.
Recently in an interaction, Sharvari said that she wishes to work really hard to become an action star of India, if fate has it written for her.
The ‘Maharaj’ actress said, “I love action as a genre and I binge watch action movies with my sister! So, when I was offered Alpha, I jumped! In my head I always wanted to do action as an actor. So, I’m getting to live my dream.”
Sharvari added, “I always believed that action stars have a really fun shooting experience because of all the stunts that they get to do. I’m now experiencing this feeling first hand and I have to admit that it’s supremely fun but physically so taxing. I’m putting in my 200 percent and I hope people love me in Alpha. I want to become an action star in the near future and so, I’m going for it in Alpha!”
One hears that the film’s producer Aditya Chopra is leaving no stone unturned to make the first female-led YRF Spy Universe film into an action spectacle. Alpha is being directed by Shiv Rawail of the blockbuster global streaming series The Railway Men fame, which was also produced by YRF.
Sharvari and Alia have already begun filming for Alpha. Apart from this film, YRF Spy Universe’s War 2 is also on floors currently.
