Ahaan Panday opened up on filming one of the poignant moments from his blockbuster hit Saiyaara.

Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara, featuring debutant Ahaan Panday alongside Aneet Padda, took everyone by surprise with its blockbuster run at the box office. The film earned praise from the audience and the critics alike for the lead pair’s emotionally grounded performances and evocative music.
Among the film’s most heart-wrenching scenes, the piano sequence stands out where Vaani (Aneet Padda), battling early-onset Alzheimer’s, tries to express her deep love for Krish (Ahaan Panday), but heartbreakingly addresses him as Mahesh, her former fiancé. Instead of correcting her or flinching, Krish silently kisses her forehead with a tear dropping from his eye, choosing his love over identity.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ahaan was asked whether this viral scene was tough to nail.
The actor responded by saying, “I never felt it was challenging. I had a great team; we didn’t realise it while it was happening, but it was so collaborative. When we had emotional scenes, it was a quiet set without anyone having to say anything. The first five days were like a normal set, but over time the team started feeling the emotions of this film. I’ve assisted on a few things before this; [so I’m used to] the noise.”
He further added, “With the piano scene, there was no planning. It had grown so much on us, the only thing Mohit sir had to do was hold back the tears, because we were so moved And there’s an arc, so you can’t be emotionally all out. That’s where he would step in.”
Saiyaara revolves around Krish, a troubled musician whose life takes a turn when he meets Vaani (Aneet Padda), a shy poet battling early-onset Alzheimer’s. Reportedly, the film made a lifetime collection of Rs 337.49 Crore at the domestic box office.
