The ‘Vedaa’ director recently shared in an interview with Cyrus Says’ YouTube channel how King Khan was a tad disappointed when he learnt that he just had to step down from the helicopter instead of jumping off from there for his entry scene in this Karan Johar directorial.

Nikkhil revealed, “When we told him that his entry in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is with the helicopter. He thought he is going to jump off the helicopter, while he just had to step down. The scene was more about Jaya Bachchan that she gets to know about the arrival of her son as soon as he touches the ground.” The actor was quiet disappointed.

The filmmaker also talked about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. He revealed how Shah Rukh Khan treated the basketball scene in the film Hai like an action sequence and even choreographed it himself.

“When you see Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, he gets a credit called thrills. In the beginning of the film, he gets credit for thrills. It is because he treated the basketball sequence in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai like an action scene. He choreographed it,” Advani shared in his interview.

Both Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, helmed by Karan Johar, are considered amongst Shah Rukh Khan’s most popular films of all times.
