Mudassar Aziz who recently directed Akshay Kumar in his film, Khel Khel Mein is confident that the superstar’s flop streak will end soon as Akshay has a very ‘thinking mind’.
There is no doubt that Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest superstars in the country who enjoys a massive fan-following. However lately, the Bollywood star is having a tough luck at the box office as his last few films have failed to struck a chord with the audience.
In a recent interview with Indian Express, Mudassar Aziz, the director of his recent release, Khel Khel Mein was asked to share this thoughts on Akshay‘s low phase. In response, the filmmaker said that he is confident that the ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ actor will find his way out of his flop streak soon adding that ‘form is temporary but class is permanent.’
Mudassar told the news portal, “I am too junior in the film journey to make a comment on someone as large as Akshay Kumar He has 33 years of entertainment behind him. He steps out every day in order to prove his mettle, his stardom. He has a very thinking mind. He takes a lot of things into account, so it is not like he is not solving the rubik’s cube in his own mind. I am sure he is. Which is why I say that form is temporary but class is permanent.”

Further drawing parallels between Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan, both of whom have faced lows in their llustrious careers, the director said that it’s unfortunate that we live in a society “where writing somebody off is very fashionable.”
“He will find his way. It has happened too many times before. It has happened with Shah Rukh Khan sahab for five-seven years. Unfortunately we live in a society where writing somebody off is very fashionable. But all that said, I, as a filmmaker, will share my experience working with him. For somebody who likes to make comedies and make everyone laugh in the audience, which is my fuel, my experience with him has been exhilarating. We gave so many things to one another during the making of Khel Khel Mein. He will, in my eyes and in the eyes of many people across the country, always be Akshay Kumar,” Mudassar was quoted as saying.
On the work front, Akshay has some interesting projects in the pipeline which includes Sky Force, Jolly LLB 3, Welcome To The Jungle, Hera Pheri 3 and Shankara.
