In a career spanning more than two decades, Kareena Kapoor Khan has entertained us with many memorable roles. However, her iconic performances as Poo in Karan Johar’s Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Geet in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met continues to receive massive love from fans even after many years of release.

Recently, in a chat with Hindustan Times, Bebo pointed out that how her performances in movies like Chameli, Omkara, Heroine, and Yuva went unnoticed, while Poo (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…) and Geet continue to receive a lot of attention.

On being asked her why every film she does is compared to her performance as Geet in Jab We Met, the actress explained, “Of course, it will always be compared to Poo and Geet, they are iconic I understand. Everybody is going to compare. But I feel like people should talk about Chameli, Omkara, Heroine, they are pretty underrated in terms of my performance, Yuva too. Why don’t people talk about that.”

Further calling Jab We Met ‘ghar ki khichdi,’ she continued, “You see it again and again, there’s always something new, it doesn’t seem like an old film. That’s a rarity, every time you watch it’s like you are watching it for the first time. It’s just the character.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan is currently busy filming for Rajesh Krishnan’s The Crew in which she will be seen sharing screen space with two other heroines- Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
Speaking about doing a female multistarrer, the actress said that she has worked in many female centric films, and worked with most of the female actors. According to Kareena, today,  it’s about doing a good film and not about who is in it. The actress said that everybody just wants to do a good film.
Besides The Crew, Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix adaptation of the popular Japanese novel, The Devotion Of Suspect X alongside Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat and Hansal Mehta’s next in her kitty.
