Kareena Kapoor Khan opened up on the possibility of working with Alia Bhatt in a film at a recent event.
Alia Bhatt is a huge Kareena Kapoor Khan fan and we all know that! The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress has never shied away from expressing her admiration for Bebo in various interactions.
Recently, Alia took to her Instagram page to share a bunch of pictures with Kareena and captioned them as, “Can it get any better…P.S. Can someone please cast us in a film together…although we may spend most of our time on set reflecting.”
The photos went viral in no time and fans wondered if the two actresses are doing a film together. Even filmmaker Karan Johar couldn’t stop himself from dropping a comment, ‘We need a film with this cast’ on Alia’s post.
Recently, in an interaction with media at an event, Kareena was asked if a film with Alia is on the cards. In response, the actress said that she would be open to working with the Brahmastra actress if a director presented a compelling script for them.
“I know there are so many great directors out there, whoever has a great script. I think nowadays it’s more about the content and script, so I would say anyone who has a great script,” Kareena said at the event. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan had earlier worked together in Abhishek Chaubey’s gritty thriller Udta Punjab and it would be a treat for the fans if they reunite once again on screen.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt was recently seen in Karan Johar’s rom-com Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and her Hollywood debut Heart Of Stone. On the other hand, Kareena will next be seen in The Crew alongside Kriti Sanon and Tabu. She also has Sujoy Ghosh’s The Devotion of Suspect X in the pipeline.
