Preeti Amin expressed her excitement over joining Zee TV’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, starring Arjit Taneja and Sriti Jha.
With compelling tracks, and Virat (Arjit Taneja) and Amruta (Sriti Jha)’s electrifying chemistry, Zee TV’s popular show, Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye is making sure that the audience remains glued to the small screen. While the latest track revolves around Virat trying to cope up with his mother Babita (Kishori Shahane)’s betrayal, and Amruta standing rock-solid by his side, we now hear that the makers have roped in a new actor in the show to spice up the drama.
Actress Preeti Amin, who was last seen in Colors TV’s Lakshmi Narayan – Sukh Samarthya Santulan, is all set to enter Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. She will be essaying the role of Vandana, Amruta’s Dubai-returned aunt, in the show.
Speaking about how she is thrilled to join the show, Preeti told ETimes, “My debut in Hindi television was with the popular show, Kasamh Se in 2006, and the last show I did with the channel was Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein in 2013. So, coming back on the channel after 11 years, with a show like Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, really feels like a homecoming.”
The actress revealed that her character, Vandana a.k.a Vandy, is a very hoity-toity lady, who has returned from Dubai, and added, “I genuinely feel this role is for me because I think she has her own quirks.”
Preeti revealed that she has already begun filming for the show, and was all praise for the team. “I already feel like I am a part of their family,” she was quoted as saying by the publication.
The ‘Katha Ankahee’ actress also gave a glimpse into the upcoming twist in the show, and shared, “Vandana is going to create a lot of issues in Virat’s life because he married her niece, Amruta forcefully. I am sure the upcoming track will keep the audience hooked to the storyline.”
