Shah Rukh Khan, at the success meet of Jawan, said that his sole aim while working on the film was to make director Atlee and the audience happy.
Shah Rukh Khan is overwhelmed with the love pouring for him for his latest release, Jawan which features him in a never-seen-before avatar. At the recently held success meet for the film, he credited the entire team and the film’s director Atlee for the film’s success. He said that his sole aim while working on this mass entertainer was to make his director and the audience happy.
While addressing the audience, King Khan said that actors only feed on love and he received a lot of love on the sets of Jawan.
SRK said, “Deepika loves me. She is family. The young girls were showing me so much love. Sunil Grover, he is love personified for me. Vijay sir, who I’ve admired from far. Then Atlee, he is a brilliant director.. from them I have only felt love.”
Further, the superstar also recalled how he and Atlee would have a fight as ‘he is mass while the latter is class.’
Shah Rukh said, “Every time I thought I have done a cool shot, Atlee sir would be like, ‘No, this is mass and not class.’” However, at the end of the day, the actor decided to make his director happy. He said, “Whatever I’ve done in the film is because of the love of the team. I get shy, actors get shy to do things, and we feel awkward. I just wanted to make him happy and please him. It is the duty of every actor, whatever film you do, you have to make your director happy because, through his eyes, everybody is going to perceive you and see you. I’m happy I could make him (Atlee) happy.”
Jawan marks the Hindi directorial debut of Tamil filmmaker Atlee who is known for movies like Theri, Mersal and Bigil.
