Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa 2-The Rule is one of the most anticipated films of this year. The assets from the film have already received a good response from the audience, and now they are eagerly waiting for the sequel to hit the big screens on December 5.

Last year on Allu Arjun‘s birthday when the makers dropped the teaser of the film, fans got a glimpse of the much-talked-about jatara scene in the sneak-peek. It featured Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Raj dressed in a blue pattu saree with body paint on, and donning jewellery like bangles, nose pin, jhumkas, necklaces, bangles, nose pin, and ghungroo.

At the recent press meet for Pushpa 2-The Rule, Allu Arjun was asked about how challenging was it for him to pull off the Gangamma Thalli jatara sequence in the film.

In response, the actor said, “I generally don’t like to explain that we worked this hard and that hard. But I can only say one thing for sure, by far, for the last 20 years that I have been working, it is the hardest sequence that I have shot in my entire life. It takes more than hard work and effort. It takes something beyond that. I can’t put it in words. I don’t want to explain because I don’t want the magic to go. I just want people to experience it for the magic it is more than my hard work.”

In December 2023, the shooting of Pushpa 2-The Rule was put on pause after Allu Arjun ended up with severe backup while filming a song and a fight in the jatara get-up for this sequence. Later, he resumed the shoot and the scenes were completed.

Reports suggest that the makers took 30 days to wrap this six-minute scene and spent around Rs 60 crore on it.

After Allu Arjun calling it the ‘hardest’ sequence of his career, we now can’t wait to witness it on the big screen.

Pushpa 2- The Rule stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The film is slated to release in multiple languages on December 5.
