Sunny Deol shared that he never reads scripts and dialogues while shooting for a film in a recent interview.

    Sunny-Deol

Sunny Deol who made his acting debut with Rahul Rawail’s Betaab in 1983, has been a part of many memorable films and delivered several blockbusters. However, do you folks know that the actor has never read scripts and dialogues while shooting for his films. Instead, he prefers his scenes and dialogues “narrated” to him.

Speaking about it, Sunny elaborated in a recent episode of Rajat Sharma’s ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, “I never read a script because I couldn’t read. I never read any dialogues, I feel them and emote. When a director gives me script, I don’t read. I often ask them to narrate it to me, what they want me to say, then I will say it in my own style.”

He further continued, “It is important for the message to come across. If I hear the dialogues, then it becomes easy for me to read. I understand the words better that way. It becomes easy for me. At the end of the day, the dialogues have to be spoken in a manner that feels more personal, not like a ‘dialogue.”

Previously, in one of his interviews, the Bollywood star had opened up on his struggle with dyslexia and revealed that he would often get slapped for not scoring well in studies. But back then, no one really knew what dyslexia meant. He had further added that this was was one of the reasons why he would be nervous about public speeches, as he would have to “read” from a teleprompter that was quite a task.

Sunny Deol is currently basking in the success of his last release, Gadar 2.
