Vijay Deverakonda shared his ‘unique’ experience of reuniting with director Parasuram on his upcoming entertainer, Family Star co-starring Mrunal Thakur.

Vijay Deverakonda is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Family Star. The family entertainer marks his reunion with director Parasuram with whom he collaborated on the 2018 film Geeta Govindam.

A refreshing deviation from his hyper masculine roles, Family Star features Vijay in the role of a working class hero, who is ready to go to any extend to save his family.

Recently in a chat with Galatta Plus, the ‘Liger’ actor opened up on how Parasuram contributed to his performance in this film.

Speaking about it, Vijay shared, “Parasuram the director of the film has a very unique taste, way of narrating the dialogue and expressing himself. I know that it is the exact beat I have to capture. As soon as I went to the sets, on both Geetha Govindam and Family Star, I made him say the dialogue and observed it. I captured it and reproduced it with my face and body. I made a few changes. The entire credit goes to Parasuram.”

He further added, “That’s all I had to do. I don’t need Stanislavski or any other thing. I just need to go on sets. The more I can bring out of him, the better the scene will be. I am just jamming with him and pick the best.”

Further, the ‘Kushi’ star was all praise for his film’s leading lady Mrunal Thakur with whom he is sharing screen space for the first time.

“When you have an intelligent actress with you, it is very easy. Mrunal has been acting even before I started dreaming of films. She has been working from a young age. She picks up things very fast. I keep telling her that she is blessed with a face. Even if she doesn’t too much, you can feel the emotions. The geometry of her nose, lips and eyes… there’s something about it that the emotions comes through well even if she doesn’t know the language. It was very easy to work with her,” Deverakonda said, adding that his character in the film will be hilarious and amusing to watch.

The Family Star is slated to hit the big screens on April 5.
