Sreeleela revealed the reason why she took up the ‘Kissik’ song in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2- The Rule.

After taking the nation by storm with her popular ‘Kurchi Madathapetti’ song from Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram, Sreeleela will now be seen sharing a leg with Allu Arjun in ‘Kissik’ song in Sukumar’s much-anticipated Pushpa 2- The Rule.

The makers recently unveiled the lyrical video of the dance number wherein one could see glimpses of both the stars pulling off the hook step. Recently during the press conference for her upcoming film Robinhood, Sreeleela shared the reason why she agreed to take up Pushpa 2’s Kissik song.

The actress said, “The song itself will justify my choice. It’s not your typical item song. There’s a strong narrative reason behind it, which will become clear when the movie releases.”

Ever since ‘Kissik’ song dropped online, fans have been gushing over Sreeleela’s sizzling dance moves. Further, there were even reports that the ‘Dhamaka’ actress was paid Rs 2 crore for the special number, a stark contrast to the Rs 5 crore that Samantha received for ‘Oo Antava’

Sreeleela also addressed these speculations and said, “We haven’t even discussed the remuneration with the producers yet.”

Speaking about ‘Kissik’ song, the track, sung by Sublahshini, is composed by Devi Sri Prasad and has lyrics by Chandrabose. Pushpa 2- The Rule features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the big screens on December 5.
