Priyanka Chopra, in a recent interview, opened up on getting trolled for her RRR goof-up.
Last month, Priyanka Chopra found herself in trouble on social media after she mistakenly called RRR a Tamil film in an interview with American podcast host, Dax Shephard. While attempting to correct him for calling the SS Rajamouli directorial a Bollywood film, the actress ended up making a goof-up herself for which she got schooled by netizens on the internet.
In her latest interview with Mid-day, Priyanka addressed this controversy and said that people love to troll her and find mistakes in all she does. She further added that earlier, she was a lot more free-spirited, but now has become ‘little more cautious’ as she has a family to think about.
The publication quoted her as saying, “People try to find a mistake in anything I do. I think people enjoy that a little bit. I was a lot more free-spirited, but now, I am a bit more cautious because I have my family to think about. The higher you go in life, the more people look for a reason for you to fall. But at the same time, I have so much love and support from my family, friends and fans. I prefer to focus on that.”
Workwise, Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming series, Citadel. Ahead of its release on Amazon Prime Video on April on April 28, the makers recently hosted a grand premiere for this espionage thriller in London which was attended by the actress and her co-star Richard Madden. Varun Dhawan and Samantha, the cast of the Indian adaptation of this globe trotting series, also graced the event.
