Saif Ali Khan spilled the beans on his role in Jr NTR’s next with Koratala Siva which also features Janhvi Kapoor.
Recently, it was announced that Saif Ali Khan is the latest addition to the cast of Koratala Siva’s upcoming film with Jr NTR, tentatively titled, ‘NTR 30’. Reportedly, the Omkara actor will be essaying the role of the antagonist in this film which is set against the backdrop of coastal lands of India.
In an interaction with ETimes, Saif opened up on his role in this ambitious project.
The publication quoted him as saying, “It’s a very cool role and I’m working hard to make sure I deliver more than what is expected of me. My director Koratala Siva is a passionate artist with infectious energy and a great vision; he narrated the script to me for three hours and I was spellbound, emotionally involved all the way.”
Speaking about his co-star Jr NTR with whom he is sharing screen space for the first time, the Hum Tum star continued, “Oh, NTR is very friendly and charming and super-passionate also! I admire the ambition of making a pan-India film. We are too used to working in terms of region and language. This is NTR’s exciting plan.”

“The DOP (director of photography) is Rathnavelu, who has shot amazing movies like Robot and it’s great to be lit and shot like this. It’s a fantastic vision and the movie’s scale is very big. I take it as a great compliment that they are interested in my services. My pleasure entirely to be here. Fingers crossed, this will be rocking,” the actor was quoted as saying by the daily.
NTR 30 marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor. Earlier, director Koratala Siva had shared that this much-anticipated film is an emotional story which emphasizes the role fear plays in having a moral and humane society. He had went to add that NTR 30 will be his biggest and best film.
