Do you know that Megha Ray quit her corporate job to pursue a career in acting? The actress, who holds a degree in computer science, made this revelation in an interview with a leading daily. She also opened up on her struggle and added that she is now happy pursuing a profession that she is passionate about.

While speaking with ETimes, Megha shared that she was very good at academics but deep down, she always knew that she wanted to be an actress.

The Apna Time Bhi Aayega actress was quoted as saying, “I got into showbiz, but the initial journey was tough. When I started auditioning, I realised that it wasn’t easy to bag a role. Out of a hundred auditions, I got through just two. What I did learn is that you can’t stop because if you do that, then the right opportunity may never come your way.”

Looking back at her initial struggles in the industry, Megha said that she has never been a quitter in her life.

“I had decided that for the first two years, I wouldn’t be too hard on myself because being a part of showbiz I knew would not be easy. I never had any plan B and just kept going. After every audition, I used to make notes of how I could improve in my next. With hard work, I have now reached this point,” the tabloid quoted her as saying.

Megha is now gearing up for her upcoming new show, Sapno Ki Chhalaang which is slated to go on air in April. It revolves around Radhika, a young girl who shifts to a different city to pursue her dreams and the challenges that she faces while doing the same.
