The director went on to narrate how the vibration on set changed when the veteran actress performed the iconic ‘Mere bete aaenge’ sequence in the movie.
“The way Rakhee performed and said those lines with such conviction it made the base of the story. Had she just said the dialogue simply, nobody would have believed it, but because she said it with such an impact, it showed in her eyes, we could feel the vibration. That is what made people also want Karan Arjun to come back,” he shared in his interview.
Further, Rakesh Roshan also shed light on why he felt Karan Arjun was different from other reincarnation stories on screen.
The ‘Krrish’ director shared, “Mostly films on reincarnation are made on love stories, this was the first time the film was made about relationship between the mother and two sons. I established that current of lovers meeting again between the two brothers.”
Besides Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Karan Arjun also features Kajol and Mamta Kulkarni in leading roles.
