Actors often talk about how they always look forward to step outside their comfort zone. Some find playing characters with negative shades extremely engaging and challenging, and one of them is Bhavya Shinde who is currently essaying the role of Rajeev in Zee TV’s popular show Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye.

His character, driven by revenge, is shown often scheming against the lead pair, Amruta (Sriti Jha) and Virat (Arjit Taneja). Not to forget that his wicked sense of humour also makes for a refreshing watch!

In a recent interaction with ETimes, Bhavya said that he’s having a ball playing the show’s negative lead.

“Portraying Rajeev in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye has been an incredibly thrilling experience for me. This negative role has given me the freedom to explore a darker, more complex side of acting, which I find exciting,” the actor told the publication.

In the last few tracks in the show, Bhavya’s character was shown donning multiple disguises to bring his menacing plans to life.

Speaking about it, Bhavya said, “What makes it even more special is the chance to take on multiple disguises- I’ve portrayed more than five different looks, including a Parsi man, a woman in saree, and a waiter, amongst others. Each transformation has been creatively challenging and immensely rewarding.

He continued, “From altering my voice and body language to getting into the finer details of each persona, this role has truly pushed my boundaries as an actor. I want people to know me as Rajeev, and not Bhavya Shinde because that’s the impact I hope to leave with my performance. Playing with these shades of deception makes Rajeev’s character unpredictable and keeps the audience on their toes, which is what I love most about this role.”

Meanwhile, what do you guys think about Bhavya’s portrayal of Rajeev in the show?
