Kabir Khan opened up on the possibility of reuniting with Katrina Kaif for a film in a recent interview.
Kabir Khan and Katrina Kaif teamed up for the first time in 2009 for the critically acclaimed, New York, which also featured John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Later, they went on to work together on two more films, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Saif Ali Khan starrer Phantom (2015).
Kabir, in a recent interview with News18 Showsha, was asked if he has any plans of directing Katrina again in a film. The filmmaker responded by saying that he would approach the ‘Tiger 3’ actress only if the script is ‘good enough’ for her.
“Katrina is somebody I’ve collaborated with on many films. I would love to work with her again. But it’s all about the script and creating material that’s good enough for me to take to her. Only if I’m excited about it will she be excited about it. Whenever that happens, I would love to reunite with her. There’s absolutely no doubt that if there’s suitable material, we’ll surely work again,” Khan told the news portal.
In the same interview, Kabir also addressed rumours about directing Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in a film reportedly titled, Babbar Sher.
The director was quoted as saying, “These are all conjectures in the market. There’s no Babbar Sher right now.”
Kabir’s last directorial was Chandu Champion which starred Kartik Aaryan in leading role.
