Gaurav Gera shared how performing this crucial scene from Dhurandhar 2 helped him land the role of Aalam.

Actor Gaurav Gera made a strong impact with his role as Aalam in Dhurandhar 2 (Dhurandhar: The Revenge). His character’s loyalty and sacrifice touched audiences deeply, especially in one of the film’s most emotional scenes.

Interestingly, this was the very scene Gaurav had auditioned for. “I was called to Mukesh Chhabra’s office and asked to perform that heavy scene,” he said. “So when it came in the film, it wasn’t a surprise for me,” the actor told HT City in an interview.

The scene shows Aalam convincing Hamza (Ranveer Singh) to let him take the blame for Pinda’s death; a turning point in the story.

For Gaurav, it was clear from the start that this role would be special. “I knew Aalam was Hamza’s only support in the film, someone who truly understands him. That’s why I was sure people would connect with it,” he explained.
