Fahadh Faasil’s actress-wife Nazriya Nazim opened up the actor’s role in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Pushpa 2- The Rule.
When Allu Arjun-Sukumar’s Telugu action drama Pushpa-The Rise released in 2021, it went on to become a huge blockbuster at the box office. From Allu Arjun’s mannerisms and dialogues as Pushpa Raj to Samantha’s viral ‘O Antava’ song, the masses completed lapped up all the ingredients of this masala entertainer.
Despite limited screen time, Fahadh Faasil received appreciation for his performance as cop IPS Bhanwar Singh Sekhawat, the chief antagonist for Allu Arjun’s character. Now, the actor will be reprising this role in the second part as well.
Recently when the trailer of Pushpa 2: The Rule dropped online, fans already got a glimpse of Pushpa Raj-Bhanwar Singh rivalry in the 2 minute-48 second video.
And now, in a recent interaction with News18, actress Nazriya Nazim spilled the beans about her husband Fahadh’s role in the upcoming Allu Arjun starrer. She revealed that the ‘Aavesham’ star will have more screen time in Pushpa 2- The Rule, as compared to its prequel which released in 2021.
The actress said, “As a fan, I believe that he impresses the audiences with every performance in films and Fahadh will be having more screen time in Pushpa 2 than the first part. It’s a complete FaFa show. Pushpa 1 was just like an introduction to his character. The second part will show you who the real Fahadh Faasil is.”
Besides Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa 2- The Rule also has Rashmika Mandanna reprising her role of Srivalli. Sreeleela has also been roped in for a special dance number. The film is slated to hit the big screens on December 5 this year.
