Prabhas was all praise for his co-star Deepika Padukone in a recent interview.
Ever since it was announced that Prabhas will be sharing screen space with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone in Nag Ashwin’s next, Kalki 2898 AD, fans couldn’t keep calm. Later, when the makers unveiled the first look of the film, at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) last month, the little glimpse of the two stars added more to their excitement levels.
Recently, in an interview with Screen Rant Plus, Prabhas confessed that he is a huge fan of his co-star Deepika and was all praise for her.
The Adipurush actor said, “She’s the biggest superstar, the most beautiful lady and she’s already famous globally. I think she’s doing Louis Vuitton, TAM AdEX and the biggest international commercials. So, she’s just vibrant when she comes into the set, and I always loved her. I wanted to work with her, this is the first time I’m working with her, so yeah.”
Director Nag Ashwin, who was also a part of the same conversation, opened up on Deepika’s character in the film without divulging any details.
“We still have to see Deepika’s character fully, and then we will probably understand the reason why we cast her because it is an important character,” the filmmaker said in the interview.
Talking about Kalki 2898 AD, the ambitious project touted to be a dystopian sci-fi film and will be hitting the big screens in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Besides Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, the Nag Ashwin directorial also features Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani in prominent roles. Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has been roped in to play the antagonist in this Prabhas-Deepika Padukone starrer.
