Salman Khan’s much anticipated film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan hit the big screens last week. Upon its release, the Farhad Samji directorial received mixed to negative reviews from the critics.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan began its box office journey on a slow note with Rs 13 Crore. However, the film picked up pace over the Eid weekend, all thanks to Salman’s star power.

On its day four of release, the Salman Khan-Pooja Hegde starrer managed to have a strong hold at the ticket windows. The mass entertainer raked in a double-digit figure at the box office and passed the Monday litmus test with flying colours.

As per a report in Sacnik, after an opening collection of Rs 13 Crore, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan minted Rs 25 Crore and Rs 26.25 Crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Early estimates suggest that the crowd-pleaser collected Rs 10.5 Crore on Monday. The total four-day box office collection now stands at Rs 74.75 Crore (estimate).

The actress revealed, “I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurudwara when I received a call from an unknown number. And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me. Just to verify, I put the number on the Truecaller app and found out that it was actually Salman Khan calling me! I immediately unblocked him and called him back; it was then that he offered me the film and that’s how I got the film.”

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Bhumika Chawla, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam and Vinali Bhatnagar.
