Huma Qureshi, starring in Yash starrer Toxic, has this to say about its clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2.

On March 19, 2026, Indian cinema is set to witness one of its biggest box office battles in recent times. Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, directed by Aditya Dhar, will lock horns with Yash’s Toxic, helmed by Geetu Mohandas.
While trade analysts debate numbers and fan wars rage online, Huma Qureshi, who plays a prominent role in Toxic, has offered a refreshing perspective.
The actress believes that rather than cannibalizing each other’s collections, the clash will prove there’s space for everyone to succeed.
Speaking to Variety India, Huma said, “No matter what I say, I think whichever way I look at it, it is a win for the Indian film industry and it’s going to be great for the audiences. It’s a win-win, the way I look at it and I think it’s going to be like just a fantastic time for movie-going audiences, and there is space for everyone to do well.”

Touted to be a gritty gangster drama, Toxic features Yash in a double role with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Disha Patani, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair.
On the other hand, Dhurandhar 2 offers a high-octane sequel with Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Danish Pandor, and Gaurav Gera reprising their characters from the first part.
It looks like the audience has more than one reason to return to the cinema halls in March this year.
