Founded by Madhuri Prabhu, the entertainment journalism platform is an attempt to blur the boundaries of language and region and bring the readers under one roof to celebrate story-telling irrespective of the medium. Also, ‘Cutting Shots ka ek usool hain, audience- no malicious gossip or click-bait journalism.’ From engaging content including news, features, reviews and box office from the entertainment world to giving you a peek into what goes behind that 70mm screen or small screen in the form of interviews, the platform brings you all.

Madhuri Prabhu
A post-graduate degree holder in Electronic Media (Department of Journalism & Communication, Mumbai University), Madhuri Prabhu is the brain behind Cutting Shots. She began her journey in showbiz with an internship under a TV producer and worked on a couple of daily soaps. Post her brief stint as an executive producer and assistant casting director for a YouTube channel, Hindi Kavita, Madhuri hopped into the world of entertainment journalism.
Over the years, she has worked as a journalist and film critic for digital portals like clapnslaps.com and filmibeat.com. Madhuri has also served as a Young Critic Jury at the 14th Mumbai Film Festival (MAMI). Cutting Shots is born out of her love for cinema.
