Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood has struck a chord with the audience with its satirical take on Bollywood’s messy underbelly, cheeky humour and fun cameos. Not to forget, the epic twist in the climax that has become the most talked-about moment, fueling fan theories and rewatches.

In a recent interaction with Instant Bollywood, Sahher Bambba, who played the role of Karisma Talwar in the series, revealed that Aryan kept the ending of the Netflix show a tightly guarded secret, only revealing it to the cast about 30–45 minutes before shooting.

The actress shared, “We had no idea. Aryan didn’t tell us that this was the climax. In fact, I asked Aryan many times what the climax was—does someone die? What happens? Just drop some hint. But he kept saying, ‘No, no, no, wait.’ Since we shot the climax towards the end, by that time my curiosity had peaked. I asked the writers and Aryan repeatedly, ‘What will happen? Tell me.”

She continued, “And on the day we had to shoot the climax, about 30 to 45 minutes before, he called everyone and said, “Guys, this is the climax.” It took me about 10 minutes to fully understand it. I was just processing everything. It was so unexpected.”

With Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol, Mona Singh, Sahher Bambba, and Anya Singh in pivotal roles, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood dives into the glittering yet ruthless world of Hindi cinema, where a privileged insider and a hungry outsider chase stardom, until a shocking climax rewrites their fates. The seven-episode series is currently streaming on Netflix.
