Siddharth spoke about why he chose to take up Shankar’s upcoming ambitious project Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan.

Siddharth is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming film, Takkar which also stars Divyansha Kaushik, Yogi Babu and Abhimanyu Singh. In a recent interview, the actor shared that his role in this Karthik G Krish director is quite different from his previous films as his role in it is polar opposite to what he is in real life.

Besides this film, Siddharth also has Shankar’s ambitious project Indian 2. While speaking with India Today, the actor talked about why he took up this movie which has been in the making for a long time.

The publication quoted the Bommarillu actor as saying, “I’m really excited to see myself in this film working again with director Shankar, who launched me in Indian cinema. The reason I did this film is not because of what happens after the release of the film, but the fact that I could work with such stalwarts. I can’t talk about the role but the film is a blessing and I am happy.”
