Rohit Saraf said that he finds the ‘chocolate boy’ tag endearing as it motivates him to continue to do good work.

Known for his cute looks and charming smile, Rohit Saraf shot to fame with his portrayal of Rishi in Netflix’s popular romantic comedy series, Mismatched. The lad made his big screen debut with a supporting role in Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt starrer Love U Zindagi, and went on to feature in films like The Sky Is Pink, Ludo, Vikram Vedha, to name a few.

The ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ actor, who enjoys an immense female fan-following on social media, recently opened up on his ‘chocolate boy’ tag in an interview with Elle India.

Admitting that he finds it very ‘endearing’, Rohit told the publication, “I’ve grown up hearing people call other stars chocolate boys and all kinds of nicknames. It comes from a place of love and pushes the actors to do better. I enjoy hearing these terms for myself, and I hope to continue to do good work.”

The actor revealed that he is a sucker for rom-coms in real life, and loves being able to portray the same energy on-screen.

“I really cherish being in romantic films and would love to continue doing them for the long run. I think this genre is universal; everyone understands it, everyone wants it, everyone loves it,” Rohit was quoted as saying.

On the work front, Rohit has some interesting projects in the pipeline. This includes Varun Dhawan-Janhvi Kapoor’s  Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Mani Ratnam’s star-studded film, Thug Life which he calls a ‘very different and exciting experience’ for him. There is also the third season of Mismatched lined up for release.
