Radhika Apte, in a recent chat with a news portal, talked about how actors sometimes find themselves in a fix when they come across something objectionable in the script after signing a film.

Radhika Apte is one of the few actresses in the film industry who has always been vocal about many things. In a recent interview with an entertainment portal, the Phobia actress talked about how actors sometimes find themselves in a difficult situation when they find something objectionable in a script after giving their nod to the project.

Citing her own example, Radhika revealed that she has worked on films where scripts were changed last minute.

The actress told Bollywood Hungama, “I find it difficult when they don’t give you the script and it comes much later and there are lots of things you would have had a problem with… but now you’re shooting. I’ve had films where scripts were changed so last minute. And you’re like I don’t agree with this, but you have no option because the whole unit is standing and waiting. Even though things are in your contract, things don’t go as per the contract.”

She further added that while certain things are covered in a contact, not every actor can drop out from a project.

“It’s very hard. Sometimes people don’t like what they watch and they come to you and say, how could you do a film like that? You think it’s easy? It’s not in my control. Some many actors don’t have the control, the authority and ability to just walk away and say I’m not going to do it,” Radhika told the publication.

Workwise, Radhika was recently seen in Anushree Mehta’s spy comedy, Mrs Undercover in which she essayed the role of an ex-undercover special agent turned homemaker who is entrusted the mission of hunting down a psychotic killer. The film is currently streaming on ZEE5.
