Mrunal Thakur was all praise for her co-star Nani in a recent interview. The two actors will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in ‘Nani 30’.

Mrunal Thakur made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival this year and her sizzling red carpet looks from the French Riviera took the internet by storm. Amid this, the actress in a new interview, opened up on her upcoming film opposite Telugu star Nani which is tentatively titled, ‘Nani 30’.

Speaking about her co-star Nani, the Super 30 actress called him a ‘great actor’ and a ‘terrific performer’. Mrunal told Film Companion, “He is such a great actor, he is a terrific performer, he speaks through his eyes. We just finished the first schedule of ‘Nani 30’, we are going by this name as of now, the film looks incredible. I think this is the best script I have ever read.”

The actress further elaborated, “All I can say is, it’s going to be nostalgic, it’s going to be something that you guys have always craved for because when I performed scenes I felt this is what I craved watching, I wanted to watch something like this. It’s fantastic, it’s a human drama, it’s like the graph of the character, every character in the film is so important, if you take out one person the film will be just incomplete without them.”

Helmed by debutante Shouryuv, the emotional family entertainer is slated to hit the big screens on December 21, 2023.

Mrunal Thakur forayed in Telugu cinema last year with Hanu Raghavapudi’s period drama, Sita Ramam in which she was paired opposite Dulquer Salmaan. The film also featured Rashmika Mandanna in a pivotal role. Sita Ramam opened to positive reviews from the critics and the audience, and emerged as one of the biggest hits in Tollywood last year.

On the Bollywood front, Mrunal has Pooja Meri Jaan and Pippa in the pipeline for release.
