Kartik Aaryan, at a music event of his upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha, spoke about why this Sameer Vidwans directorial is special to him.

Kartik Aaryan is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming romantic drama Satyaprem Ki Katha which marks his second outing with Kiara Advani after their 2022 horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Recently, the makers unveiled a brand new song titled ‘Sun Sajni’ featuring the duo.

At this song launch event in Mumbai, Kartik said that Satyaprem Ki Katha is bringing back the old charm of Bollywood.

“This film is very precious for me, for all of us. I have been too involved in this film, like never before because I am proud of this film. In my filmography, I can say I am most proud of this film,” the Shehzada actor told reporters.

He also opened up on why he and his co-star Kiara Advani ain’t going heavy on promotions like they did during Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Kartik explained, “It was our conscious decision that we will focus on the content. We have promoted several films but not all films can be promoted in the same way. We are still going through a process where the marketing team and the film team came up with the decision that we will only push for the content and that we’ll start promoting the film close to its release date. That’s what we are following, and this is our first event promoting this film.”

He further added, “I remember how I promoted Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 by visiting every city and climbing on roofs. But I think a lot of times, change is very necessary. For a lot of films we can’t have the same promotional technique.”

Satyaprem Ki Katha marks the Hindi directorial debut of National Award winning director Sameer Vidwans who is known for Marathi films like Anandi Gopal, Double Seat and Mala Kahich Problem Nahi.
