Shankar had a candid confession to make about his latest release, Ram Charan-Kiara Advani starrer Game Charan which is currently running in cinema halls.

Shankar’s latest directorial Game Changer featuring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani opened to mixed reviews. Post release, the film stirred a controversy as there were claims of inflated box office figures floating in the media. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma called the reported figures a ‘fraud’, and said the alleged inflation was insulting to the industry as a whole.

In the midst of all this, the film’s director Shankar, in an interview with Behindwoods TV, said that he is not completely satisfied with the output of his latest release.

The I director said in Tamil, “I am not completely satisfied with the output of Game Changer. I should have done better. Many good scenes have been trimmed due to time constraints. Total duration came down to more than five Hours. We have cut down a few things to acquire a sculpture.”

On the other hand, the film’s leading man Ram Charan recently took to his Instagram handle to share a statement addressed to fans, audiences and the media in which he mentioned that his heart is full of gratitude for making all the hard work the team put into Game Changer truly worth it.

Game Changer marked Shankar’s maiden collaboration with Ram Charan. The political action thriller stars the RRR star in dual roles, alongside Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Srikanth, Sunil, Jayaram and Samuthirakani.
