If reports are to be believed, Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon will be seen sharing screen space in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming TV show.
Here’s some good news for all Shivangi Joshi fans! The latest buzz in the tinsel town suggests that the actress has been finalized to play the female lead opposite Kushal Tandon in Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming TV soap. One hears that Joshi will be seen essaying the role of a journalist in this show.
ETimes quoted a source close to the project as saying, “Shivangi is now confirmed and on board for the show. She will play the female lead, a journalist. Kushal’s and Shivangi’s characters will be shown at loggerheads in the beginning only to fall in love eventually.”
The source further revealed that a mock shoot is expected to roll in a couple of days and the shoot will commence in 10 days.
Shivangi Joshi is best known for playing the characters of Naira and Seerat in Star Plus’ popular daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She was recently seen in a cameo in Shaleen Bhanot-Eisha Singh’s supernatural show, Bekaboo.
On the other hand, Kushal Tandon is making his comeback on the small screen after six years with this show. His last outing was Beyhadh opposite Jennifer Winget.
