Shah Rukh Khan shared that he chose bald look in Atlee’s Jawan out of laziness and admitted that he had reservations about this look.

Shah Rukh Khan’s latest release Jawan has been smashing box office records and how! The mass entertainer which marks Atlee’s debut in Hindi cinema, has already grossed more than Rs 600 Crore at the box office worldwide. Fans can’t stop gushing over King Khan’s new avatar in this pan India film.

Amidst this, recently, in an interaction with fans on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh Khan answered some questions by IMDb. The superstar revealed that he had some “reservations” about going bald in Jawan. King Khan said that he chose the bald look out of “laziness” as he did not want to wear make-up for two hours.

The Pathaan star said, “It was never part of the script. It was a part of the get-up that was a part of the script. I just chose the bald look out of laziness. I said, ‘yeah, then I don’t have to wear 2 hours of this makeup, can I just go bald?’ So I think it came out of that. I had reservations because I showed the promo to some friends and they were like, ‘Arey yaar! It looks very scary, girls won’t like you.’ So I hope girls like me. I hope girls like bald men. I like bald girls.”

When asked the secret behind staying ‘Jawan’ in heart, SRK quipped, “I think to remain Jawan at heart , young at heart, happy at heart, you have to be pure at heart. I think the only way to remain pure at heart is not to have cynicism towards people or things that you are doing. I think it takes very little to remain young at heart.”

Further, the Bollywood star also shared that he has more fun playing the anti-hero on screen. SRK said that he never wanted to play the hero and finds them very boring.

“I find them doing all the good things, just the nice things. To be able to do this good, I need to quickly transfer to do bad to understand that part, so that I can come and do the good guy with a lot of gusto again because just playing the good guy again and again and again, being nice, puppy eyed, doe-eyed is boring after some time. Personally, I love playing the bad guy. I love bad guys,” SRK explained.

Talking about Jawan, the film features Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role- that of an army officer named Vikram Rathore and his son Azad. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in pivotal roles.
