Pawan Kalyan, at a recent event, said that Telugu film industry isn’t exclusive to any particular family.

Power star Pawan Kalyan who holds an eminent place in Telugu cinema, recently made a big statement. The Bheemla Nayak actor denied the presence of nepotism in the Telugu film industry and claimed that the doors are open to all and that it isn’t exclusive to any particular family.

While speaking at his upcoming film Bro‘s pre-release event, Pawan Kalyan said, “The doors to cinema and politics are open for all.” He further added that there might be some problems within families but the priority will always be on the audience. “We may have issues amongst us, but we’re all striving hard to entertain you. When someone like us with ordinary backgrounds can do it, why can’t anyone else?” the actor said at the event.

Citing example of his actor-brother Chiranjeevi, he pointed out how he became a megastar without any connections in the film industry.

Pawan Kalyan further shared that  it was his sister-in-law Surekha (Chiranjeevi’s wife) who compelled him to pursue a career in acting.

Speaking about how Chiranjeevi’s journey inspired him, he added, “It was a mistake she made that I’m here before you all. I can’t blame her enough for it. I only had one thing in mind, to work 10 times more than Chiranjeevi and not take anything for granted.”

It is to be noted that Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Panja Vaisshnav Tej, and niece Niharika are all popular actors. Further, he is also linked to producer Allu Arvind and his sons Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish through his brother Chiranjeevi.

On the work front, Pawan Kalyan will next be seen in Samuthirakani’s upcoming directorial Bro alongside his nephew Sai Dharam Tej. The movie is a remake of the filmmaker’s own Tamil fantasy comedy Vinodhaya Sitham.
