Elli AvrRam opened up on her most insulting career moment when a major Bollywood film cut her introduction and reduced her role to a mere prop.

Elli AvrRam candidly spoke about one of the most disheartening chapters of her career in a recent interview with a news portal. The actress shared that she was promised the role of the second female lead in a ‘big’ film. But when the movie finally released, most of her scenes were cut, and she felt reduced to just a “prop.”

Without naming the film, Elli told Bollywood Bubble that she had signed it only because she was told she would be the second lead. During dubbing, she thought her role still had importance. But later, she was shocked to see that even those parts were removed.

“Mera pura introduction hata diya, matlab I am like a prop in that film. It’s like why is even Elli AvrRam part of this film? I have never felt more insulted in my entire career. Horrible,” the Malang actor said.

She added that the film itself turned out very different from what was planned. It became a flop at the box office, and watching it felt “ridiculous” to her because the story had completely changed.

Adding to the frustration, Elli revealed that even the director had little control over the final outcome as decisions were allegedly made by people close to the producers. She empathized with the director, calling the situation “heartbreaking” for him as well.

Elli AvrRam has steadily carved her space in Bollywood with films like Mickey Virus, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Malang, and Goodbye, while also exploring South Indian cinema. Her last screen appearance was a cameo in Abhishek Bachchan’s Be Happy which released on Amazon Prime Video.
