Salman Khan made an interesting revelation about his 2015 film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan when he graced Rajat Sharma’s talk show, ‘Aap Ki Adalat’.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has many memorable movies to his credit in his career spanning over three decades. One of them is Kabir Khan’s 2015 comedy-drama, Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The film revolves around Salman’s character, Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, an Indian who takes upon himself to reunite a young mute girl named Munni with her mother in her homeland, Pakistan. The film upon its release opened to positive reviews from the critics and the audience alike. The Kabir Khan directorial penned by KV Vijayendra Prasad even bagged a National Award.

In the climax of the film, Munni is taken home by Pawan’s friend and Pakistani reporter, Chand Nawab, essayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Recently, when Salman Khan made an appearance on Rajat Sharma’s chat show, ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, the actor revealed that he and KV Vijayendra Prasad’s director-son SS Rajamouli wanted a different climax for Bajrangi Bhaijaan wherein Munni should have been reunited with her mother by Pawan and not Chand Nawab.

The actor said, “I just thought in Bajrangi Bhaijaan climax and even (SS) Rajamouli pointed out to his father Mr Vijayendra Prasad that that visual was not supposed to be of Nawazuddin Siddiqui. That last visual of Munni going to the mother should have been Pawan’s, should have been mine. He, throughout the film, keeps saying, ‘Main chorr kar aaunga, main chorr kar aaunga (I will take her to her home).”

Bajrangi Bhaijaan starred debutante Harshaali Malhotra as Munni while Kareena Kapoor Khan essayed the role of Salman Khan’s love interest.

On the film front, Salman Khan was recently seen in Farhad Samji’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan alongside Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh Daggubati. His next release is Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3 co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
